We are pleased to announce the International Symposium on Higher Education for International Educational Development Studies in the Post-2030:East Asia's Experiences and Prospects on Thursday, December 14, 2024. The purpose of this symposium are as follows
<Purpose>
In the face of various global challenges in the post-2030 era, we need to rethink education and sustainability in the Asian region. More importantly, we need to rethink what kind of human resource development is needed for sustainable and resilient global development after 2030. The main objective of this symposium is to explore the current status, characteristics, approaches, achievements, and challenges of the process of building international education and development studies in East Asia, focusing on the efforts made by higher education institutions to build international education and development studies in East Asia, including Japan, Korea, and China. Furthermore, it will present to researchers, educators, and higher education professionals what changes are needed in the teaching and learning of international education and development studies in higher education institutions in order to achieve peace, sustainability, and resilience beyond 2030.
