No. 47: Ms. WEN Ningxi (Tohoku University, completed AELC in March, 2022)

Although time flies and the period of ALEC was short, I still benefit a lot from it. Initially, absolutely is the study of the theoretical knowledge and practical experience of the advanced education in Asia. We have the similar cultural background, as well as the different application and the development. It is considered that comparing and analyzing similar cases is a better way to find out the core issues and solutions in detail. Secondly, English communication with non-native speakers has strengthened my ability to speak standard English and made me more aware that language is only a tool for communication, and the thought and the sincere heart are more important. In the end, although we couldn't visit those countries due to the COVID, online communication also made me feel the charm of a multicultural environment. A network of young education researchers from other countries has also been formed in the process of working in groups, brainstorming, and organizing forums together. I hope this network will continue and create more value to Asian education.
