It is a profound honor to participate in the Asia Education Leader Course (AELC). This international program has left an indelible mark on my graduate studies, adding a vibrant and unforgettable chapter to my academic journey.

Throughout this program, I had the invaluable opportunity to collaborate with peers from diverse esteemed universities across East Asia. Through our joint projects and daily interactions, I not only gained a deeper appreciation for the rich tapestry of cultures within our region but also experienced genuine support and warmth. In an environment where we helped each other navigate challenges, the bonds we formed transcended mere teamwork, creating a true community of mutual growth.

This experience has equipped me with three profound insights. First, I witnessed the power of applying theory to practice. During learning at Korea University, my group designed a teaching plan that was later adopted by a member who is a primary school principal for implementation in his own school. Seeing our academic concept move from a discussion room to a real classroom was incredibly fulfilling; it taught me that the true value of educational theory lies in its ability to create tangible, positive change. Second, I developed a leader’s perspective. The professors consistently introduced us to international educational cases, challenging us to reflect on our own countries’ contexts.
