Asia Education Leader 2023 Summer Course Pre-Study Series: Session 3
Today, in the 3rd session of Asia Education Leader 2023 Summer Course Pre-study Series, we were very pleased to invite Prof. Will Brehm, Associate Professor of Faculty of Education, University of Canberra, to provide a lecture entitled “Moments of Educational Privatization”. 29 students from Tohoku University, National Chengchi University, and Nanjing Normal University joined this session. Following Prof. Brehm’s talk, students were divided into six groups to share their ideas and insights on the topics of “different moments of educational privatization in East Asia”. It was an inspiring event for all participants to strengthen our understanding of historical milestones and key moments in the trajectory of educational privatization, as well as the varying educational models and approaches to privatization.
