We often see the slogan of “diversity and inclusion” at many governments, companies and organizations recently.　Why do they introduce  such slogans or policies? What are the rationales behind them?　Share your knowledge of the case of any government, company or organization within a group, and compare the different rationals. What can we learn from comparing them? What are the implications?

 

If no one in your group knows very much about the rationals, you can search any government, company or organization that respects "diversity and inclusion" on the Internet and look for why they think it is important (Ex. The University of Tokyo). Then, please share your findings in your group to compare.
