Asia Education Leader Forum 2025 Summer: Education in a Fragmented World: Shaping the Future of Education in Asia-Pacific
The Asia Education Leader Forum 2025 (Summer) was successfully held on October 4, 2025 with the support and cooperation of AELC partner universities and colleagues in the field.
The invited commentators included Dr. Robin Jung-Cheng Chen (National Chengchi University), Dr. Chen Chen (Nanjing Normal University), Dr. Silvia Wen-Yu Lee (National Taiwan Normal University), Dr. Pey-Yan Liou (Korea University), Dr. Yiqing He (Tianjin University) and Dr. Xuedi Pi (Nagoya University). They provided valuable feedback and facilitated discussion during the presentation sessions.
There were 40 academic paper and proposal presentations in five topic areas from Tohoku University, National Chengchi University, Nanjing Normal University and National Taiwan Normal University. The research and discussion aimed to inform future directions for education given the current fragmentation of world affairs and systems.
The online forum gave students a platform to share and develop their research with other young scholars in the field. We hope this event has become a springboard for academic communication and exchange among AELC students and faculty members, and look forward to upcoming forums.
