大学が国際教育を通じてグローバル社会にどのように対応し、それをいかに構築し直しているのかに注目し、研究を行っています。特に、グローバル・シチズンシップの概念が、よりインクルーシブで社会貢献を重視した国際化を促すことができるかに関心を持っています。現在は、国家間の和解と大学の国際化、そして国際高等教育におけるアクセスと公平性を主なテーマとしています。
My research examines how universities not only respond to, but also shape, global society through international education, and how global citizenship can (and cannot) guide internationalization toward more inclusive and socially responsible forms of global engagement. My current projects focus on university internationalization and post-conflict reconciliation between nations, and access and equity within international higher education.
