With the institutional cooperation agreement between UNESCO Bangkok Office and Tohoku University’s Graduate School of Education, since 2020, we have been working closely to promote academic exchange and collaboration. In May, we successfully recommend Ms. Ningxi Wen, 2nd Year Mater Course Student, Global Education Course, Graduate School of Education, to join the internship at UNESO Bangkok Office. After five-month online internship, Ms. Wen arrived in Bangkok in October. Currently, she is working for the Quality Education program of UNESCO Bangkok Office.
ユネスコバンコク事務所と東北大学大学院教育学研究科は、2020年より機関連携協定を締結し、学術交流と連携を進めています。2022年5月には、教育学研究科グローバル教育コース博士前期課程2年のNingxi Wenさんのユネスコバンコク事務所のインターンシップの推薦が採用されました。5ヶ月間のオンラインインターンシップを経て、Wenさんは10月にバンコクに到着しました。現在は、ユネスコバンコク事務所の「Quality Education program」で働いています。

以下は、Wenさんからのメッセージです。
I am extremely delighted to be given this opportunity to make some visible contributions to SDGs 4.7. It gives me a sense of accomplishment when I receive positive feedback from partners about the ESD-related projects I am working on, as well as when we see the smiles on the faces of participants at GCED workshops and webinars that our team organized. I also feel that my limited power was truly contributing to the advancement of Transformative Education to change the world, and I seem to have taken the first step to realize my personal value.
We wish Ms. Wen a big success in her internship at UNESCO Bangkok Office. Also, we wish we could send more students from the Graduate School of Education, Tohoku University to join the internship program at the office in the future.
