Background
Special calls for young scholars’ contributions to striving for the future of education have already been underway in the Asia-Pacific region to respond to continuous and intense changes in both economic and social development. To address the challenges facing young scholars, it is essential for them to adapt themselves to significant leaps in intellectual development and participate in building a future-oriented education for a sustainable society. Therefore, giving opportunities for dialogue and exchange relevant to existing educational issues between young scholars is becoming more crucial to know if they are prepared for future education.
This webinar encourages young scholars from different countries and research institutions in the Asia-Pacific region to share meaningful insights into their ongoing or proposed research topics. It mainly addresses the following questions: 1. What have young scholars recognized as the educational changes and challenges happening in the context of the Asia-Pacific Region based on their expertise and experience? 2. In what ways have young scholars transformed their expertise and experiences to respond to the current educational issues? 3. How will young scholars address the potential academic outcomes for the future of education? In addition, through the discussion about the future possibilities of education in the Asia-Pacific region, a productive and well-established formal relationship between young scholars is expected to grow.
