About the Speaker:
Dr. Thomas K.F. Chiu (Associate Professor, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, The Chinese University of Hong Kong)
Dr. Thomas K.F. Chiu is Associate Professor of Digital Futures at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on AI in education, STEM/Mathematics education, educational policy, and teacher education, with a current emphasis on AI-enhanced learning, teaching, and training, as well as digital well-being. Dr. Chiu has been ranked among Stanford University’s top 2% most-cited scientists in education (2022–2024). He received CUHK’s Research Excellence Award (2022–2023) and is nominated for the Outstanding Research Impact Award (2024–2025). He is Editor of Interactive Learning Environments and Associate Editor of several leading Q1 SSCI journals.
