About the Talk

 

This talk introduces the SciMathUS programme at Stellenbosch University and the work we do to help address the challenges facing mathematics and science education in South Africa. We would share how the programme supports students in strengthening their mathematical and scientific knowledge, improving their National Senior Certificate results, and preparing them for success in higher education. We would also be happy to discuss our experiences in widening access to higher education and supporting students from underserved communities.
